CBS is by far the worst station for any sports. The NCAA tournament is a joke on there and Tebow wouldn't answer my prayers and let ESPN bid for the rights. Imagine, ESPN and their 3 basic cable stations(ABC, ESPN, ESPN2) + ESPNU + ESPN3 online for the NCAA tournament. There's no way you could miss a game, since usually at most only 4 games are on at once.
thats actually the problem... touched by an angel, judging amy, all those bs shows get awesome ratings for cbs on saturday afternoon/night. we need for old people to find a different station so that time slot suffers.
That's because CBS wants LSU to LOOOOOOSE! Bama and AU have been the darlings all season long. We've been the comic relief. CBS does not want us to win and will stack the cards and necessary to "create the dialogue". It's those media templates. ya see it all the time in politics ... and now football.
Oh are you SO RIGHT! I understand about "Money Talks" but still am nauseous over the time change. I am not a local--coming in from Phoenix for my first (ridiculously expensive) "Night Game in Death Valley." Planned for Alabama--felt it would be THE outrageous GAME of the SEASON for LSU. The month (Nov.), the opponent (Bama), the venue (Death Valley), the Tailgating (LSU campus), The TIME: (NIGHT!)! Planned this trip ONE YEAR AGO! Oh, woe is me! Wretched is he whose plans are led astray by wicked fate! --HEY! Very Shakespearean, neh? Anyway, PISSED OFF is not even close! (Maybe they'll let me in to sweep up under the lights????). ----Gone nuclear in Phoenix, Arizona.
:geauxtigeWe already had a 500% increase in ticket prices. In 1994 Student ticks were $4.00. What are they now?:geaux:
Seriously? We're the 2:30 CBS game because we're the premier SEC game of the week. I'm with COtiger. If we don't want to be on at 2:30, we need to be the doormat that half of our fans already think we are. Our record hasn't been great during the day because we're often playing a team ranked ahead of us. At night, not so much. It's as simple as that.
