I watched the SECCG with the dads of my daughter's softball team. Every single one of them were bashing Miles and singing the praises of Saban all day long. Drove me absolutely nuts. They were persistent about Miles winning with Sabans players and Saban losing with Shula's players. Illogical and completely unbelievable. However, they would not entertain the thought that Saban must have won with Dinardo's players if that's their logic.
:crystal: I'm so sick of this "winning with Saban's players" stuff! Was Coach Miles supposed to fire all the players who were at LSU when he came and start from scratch? Were all the players there when he got there supposed to quit and go somewhere else 'cause a new coach came? Guess so according to Saban and the gumps. Also, did Saban forget that he played with DiNardo's players when he came to LSU and did pretty good with them. For those that red-shirted, they were on the NC team and won 2 SEC titles as well. Guess that doesn't count though. Bottom line is, Coach MIles COACHED those players for the last 3 years and is responsible for where they're at today, not Saban.:geaux: o:
Hate to bring this thread up again, but I just heard that ULMonroe is in negotiations to bring in Bama for their Homecoming game next year!!
I think he was selling it to recruits as well, not just Bama fans. One things recruits should understand: ULM beat Saban with Saban's rejects.
I notice neither Nick or bama fans want to give Nick credit for what's going on with the Dolphins this year.
Because we all know who is to blame. The same people for the last decade. Or you could spin it and see how well the Dolphins played for Saban and without him. But, that might make him look good...nevermind.
