well, they are on the road and do not have a high-powered O. im sure the # of possessions for each team will be lower than average

 

I figured the #1 team in the nation would have more than that?

UF was -14 in 97'. And we were ranked one spot higher that year. Just as a comparison.

 

The line opened at 2 and its now 3 1/2. Early money went on the gumps. That 1/2 point will even out the bets. A guy I know who uses a bookie says his line today is 4'. Of course that right in the middle of gumper town so it would be expected.

 

They are begging people to bet on Bama. This is a very good sign. I see the Tigers whipping their butts by 10.:wink:

 

Look back about 5 weeks ago. The projected line was LSU by 6. That, my friend, is a 9-1/2 pt swing.

But who gives a rat's a$$ about the betting line anyway? All it is intended to do is to get equal numbers of betters on both sides.
