saban is throwing everyone under the buss.

To infer that he doesn't care what the fans and media are saying is ridiculous. He's notoriously thin skinned.

Bama fans claiming otherwise must have forgot that he was here for five years.

It has been apparent that in the last two weeks Saban lost control of the team. I don't think he will get it back. It is possible that the players will get together and play well against Auburn, but if it happens it won't be because of anything Saban did. This is not a good sign.

Maybe Nick will be back in Baton Rouge next year?

Dude, he was not throwing players and Shula under the bus till the going got really hot last week. And the reporter you are referring to hadn't even asked the question yet and Saban was going off on "sugarcoating" crap. He wanted to say that to get people off his back and he did the same thing here. The reporter hadn't even asked the question yet. You can't defend Saban so just stop trying. It's like you're the 3rd defense lawyer to defend a repeat offender. The jury has already seen the evidence before.

I remember a press conference in particular where a guy asked Saban what color was the sky and he went off for 20 minutes on LSU not delievering on promises to build his office over by the practice field. He knows what he wants to say before he walks in there and is asked on question.

No one can disagree that he has thrown the players, Shula, past players, the fans, the program and Applewhite under the bus all year long. All in an effort to keep people believing that he is the savior like you weirdos made him out to be.

You wanted the savior.....you got him but this savior barks but has a 6-6 ULM-loss bite.

First off, I don't like Saban, wouldn't want him back and didn't want him when LSU hired him. I wanted LSU to make a big push for Mark Richt when he was still OC at FSU. In retrospect Saban was great for LSU because all the things he did for the program like NC, program recognition, and the top notch facilities he drove the bus on. I think Bama fans need to relax. The guy is a great coach and recruiter. He will reestablish Bama as a national power, but its not going to happen over night. They can't expect a guy to win a NC or SEC title his first year with a mediocre team just because he is being paid 4 mill a year. Bama was still in contention for the West until 2 weeks ago. I think the LSU game was emotionaly draining and they obviously lost it following that week. In general they have been close in a lot of games that talent wise they should not have been competitive. I don't like the guy for what he did to LSU but I think a lot of people are being unrealistic in there expectations.

A win over UL Monroe is not a unrealistic expectation. In fact, 10 games into the season, it's expected. That goes for any team in the SEC, minus Ole Miss.

Agreed, but I wasn't screaming fire the guy when we lost to UAB at home a few years back. I'm not saying losing to ULM is acceptable. Its pretty obvious why Alabama had so mutch difficulty filling the job. They finally had to offer so much money that Saban would have been an idiot to turn the offer down.
