Tyler Siskey watching the Ole Miss signals thru binos then appears to say "Pass" before the camera cuts away. You be the judge.
Well, Saban is a Belichick disciple and Belichick is the architect of spygate. Sissy or whatever his name is worked for Freeze at Ark St. and Ole Miss, so he knows the offense and tendencies. Of course he stole signals and of course the gumps are going to deny it. I know the Ole Piss QB isn't Johnny Manziel, but he's a decent QB and the offense OM runs is exactly like A&M, which scored 40+ pts and had 600+ yards against the gumps and they want you to believe that they shut out OM with no help from signal boy? Bitch please. http://espn.go.com/college-football...-tyler-siskey-was-coaching-vs-ole-miss-rebels
Yeh right and you will NOT be the coach at Alabama. I don't see how he can even say this with a straight face. Dude may not have had on a headset, but he was in the defensive coaches press box with a set of binoculars. Was he just looking for hotties in the crowd? When was the last time any team allowed a recruiting coordinator in the coaches press box during a game? With a set of binoculars? Those guys are normally in the team's luxury suite or out in the crowd.
The king of the douchebags suspended Clinton-Dix also and just reading his comments berating reporters saying shit like "I don't say why players are suspended so don't ask" and "I don't know how long so dont ask". This fucking arrogant douche gets away with telling the media to not do their jobs. God I hate Nick Saban.
If you need binoculars to spy on the opposing team to know that they were gonna pass on 4th & 5, then you may have your work cut out for you with anything football-related. But yes, something needs to looked into for this. Got caught red-handed.
Meh. I dunno. I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy and I don't put anything past the Crimson Midget, but this one might be a bit of a stretch. Yeah, the guy was in the press box with the coaches (I assume they were defensive coaches) and he was decked out all in his "I'm a big time football coach" gear. And he WAS watching something through those binoculars. And it certainly looked like he said "pass" when he lowered the binoculars. But, if what we were shown was accurate in terms of time, it only looks like a few seconds between "pass" and the snap and the defense didn't make any adjustments -- or even look over to the sideline -- before the ball was in play. And it was pretty late in the game and the Gumps were up by a couple touchdowns at that point. And, like @LSUTyga73 said, you don't have to be a genius to guess pass on 4th and 5. I'm sure most of you do something similar when watching a game. The offense comes out and based on down and distance, formation and (at least to me) a lesser extent personnel, you try to guess run or pass and where the play's going. The unknowns here are what he was looking at through the binocs, how fast he could interpret that information, if a signal could get down to the field in time to make a difference, and if it was used earlier during the game.
It's not about just one 4th down play. The dude was up there the entire game relaying information. As previously mentioned, Bama shut out a team that runs the exact same offense as a team that scored 42 pts and 6oo yards against them. Bo Wallace isn't Johnny Manziel, but he's a capable QB with 3 solid receivers. The Bama D hasn't improved THAT much in 2 weeks. I'm not saying Ole Piss is good enough to throw up 40+ and 600 yards on Bama, but they're decent enough to manage a score or 2. If the dude isn't a coach, then why is he in a coaches box? Why the defensive coaches box instead of the offense? Why does he even need binocs? With today's technology, it doesn't take an hour to get a signal to the field. QBs have headsets in their helmets and if I'm not mistaken, I believe the defensive signal caller on the field has them as well.
