I tried not to laugh because it just made him more angry. I just sat in the hot tub (which only intensified the alcohol and made me laugh more) smiling. I could not wipe the smirk off my face!! A few times I tried to cover my mouth and pretend I was making an "ohh no!" face but he could tell I was laughing my head off because my eyes were tearing up. Yes, I was laughing so hard I was crying... hilarious. I couldn't help it. And the stunned shots of the Bama fans were not helping me AT ALL!! He wouldn't talk to me after the game. I got a good morning so far. But I'm letting him sleep off the humiliation. :yelwink2:
this is why we watch games in different rooms. last night i walked through the living room (had been watching the game in my office) and snickered as he was watching in disbelief. (he was raised in mobile and is a bama fan.) i got "the look". i should have kept walking. instead in snickered again and said something about how i shouldnt be so surprised, after all bama struggled against cupcake teams like tu.... ummmm... never mind. (head down, snickering some more, walking faster to the kitchen.) batty, maybe greenie and bama can get together and talk about the bear to ease their pain.:hihi:
Went to the Sugar Bowl last night. Here's a few random notes: The Utes probably only accounted for, roughly, 30% of the crowd in the Dome. The atmosphere outside of the Dome was almost non-existent (as compared to the last three Sugar Bowls). I was really disappointed in the Bama tailgating. I saw some Bama fans, literally, in tears leaving the Dome. Bama, obviously, really, really, really, really did not want to be there playing Utah. Downtown New Orleans, around the Bama fans, was like being in a morgue. I stayed all the way through the trophy presentation, and I still had the easiest time ever leaving the Dome (I guess because the Bama fans had been gone for the last 45 minutes :hihi. Wearing an LSU shirt, surprisingly, I only had one Bama fan make a comment to me. He told me that I had something on my shirt (in reference to the LSU football helmet), and I responded "Yeah, it's pure awesomeness."
If he has done anything to piss you off recently. This is your time to pile it on, a little revenge never hurts.
Nah, I was deep in Alabama territory on the same sideline, but in the other endzone. I was hoping I'd be surrounded by the Utes. Last year we sat amongst a bunch of Hawaii fans and that was a fun (game aside).
I think one of the elements fueling the hostility I am reading here is that the LSU folks know Saban would never have lost 5 games with the talent LSU had this year. Added on: Looks like this post got me a negative rating in the star system. Guess the truth can sting.
