LSU athletic director Joe Alleva has been on the phones with SEC officials since the targeting call was made on Devin White. There's no appeal process in place, but he's still working it.

It's a rule that badly needs rewritten. As it is written, it was the correct call. Hands and forearms to the neck and head area are defined, specifically, as targeting.
