I wonder what CBS is giving ESPN to make it happen? Will be interesting to see how this deal was negotiated and what the terms were.

Makes me wonder just how much CBS had to give up in that deal.

If CBS is covering the game, I assume Gameday will be at some other crappy game?

Why would CBS have to give anything to ESPN? For having a game at the same time?

    The contracts specify certain times.

The stupidest people are the SEC. Giving CBS first dibs on any game, but locking them to a 2:30 kick off.

I see. I remember the 2007 Bama game started at 4PM...was that planned or did they change that one too? Regardless, this is good news although the game is at Bama, this could set a precedent for future games at LSU. CBS loves night games at LSU after the 2007 Florida one.

Now I can enjoy the Breeder's Cup and not miss any of the game! My lucky day!
