Why, we win it on the field, not in the polling booth.

Auburn fan here. Just wanted my LSU friends to know that after our game all over campus people were watching your game and cheering you on! Later that night as I drove home to Atlanta I listened to the game on the radio. When the "interception" was made, the announcers reviewed it and said there was no doubt, it was an interception. As it was being reviewed by the refs, the announcers reviewed again and said the feet were in bounds, it was an interception. When the refs made the announcement, the announcers were stunned and said the refs were wrong and unbeleivable that once again a game changing call was made and so obvious in error. This was radio not the televised program.

We are all in agreement, UA fans are class less and that is why so many despise the school. We all have errant fans but they are the worst. It sure soes appear that the SEC wants to ensure an UA-FL SEC title showdown.

I concur. I'm an LSU fan that had to be at Auburn on Saturday. The entire establishment, except for the 2 gumps that sat right next to me, was loudly cheering for LSU. The place lit up with cheers and applause when they showed Saban throwing his headset after we intercepted the ball right before halftime.

My Bama friends here were all happy of course but they were respectful. The flamers on this thread are like my daughter's friend that texted her a "Roll Tide" after the game -- just trying to get a reaction. Resist the urge to respond. They're just making their own fanbase look bad.

Haha! Unfortunately, ol' Big ears Busch won the race. However, it sure was nice seeing the #48 finish in 38th place, and the #5 finishing 4th!! Please accept my appologies. I didn't mean to upset the good NASCAR fans of Louisianna!

I live right in the middle of these arrogant pricks. Not all of em, but most. They think they have the greatest program that ever existed on earth, and if they beat someone by a touchdown they say they totally dominated the game. They claim to have won "titles" in the same years "titles" were won by a dozen other teams. I have no problem with the team, it's the fanbase that gets sickening at times. I certainly don't mean all of them, just quite a few I work with. We lost a pretty damn good game to a very good team. Anyone who says we were dominated has their head about ten feet up their azz and obviously did not watch the game sober.

Well, I have to admit I do get carried away and love to talk smack. And I came to this forum after the game Sat. with all intentions of being respectful. But then I read some posts that ticked me off and got a little rude. But I think all teams (especially in the SEC where we take our football so seriously) have equally rude fans. When we (BAMA) play Tenn I think their fans are the most obnoxious. When we play Georgia, I think they are the worst. When we come back from a game in Baton Rouge I swear that "those LSU fans are the worst." Florida fans always tick me off. And of course I think Auburn fans are just plain stupid (just kidding). But when you get right down to it, I enjoy this. It's all part of the game. I think most of us that are so passionate about our teams can be obnoxious all the while we are trying to be what we think is objective. I love the rivalry between the SEC teams. I love the games. Fun stuff.

I do apologize for being rude to you LSU fans. I always pull for the SEC teams unless it's Auburn. I of course want them to lose every game. But I still love my Auburn buddies.

And as so many have pointed out, Alabama has not faired too well this decade. I grew up in the 70's during our great years. We've gone through some tough seasons. So this has been long in coming, and it feels good to be winning again. I think both LSU and Bama are going to be good for a while. So it looks like we may be at each other's throats for a long time.

Now, y'all can make fun of me all you want. That's what it's all about. So go ahead, and Roll Tide Roll.
