Bama expected to have as many as 110 players heading into Spring

    Will sign anywhere from 27-32 players. Most project about 29.

    So that would project to 107 players, in which Saban would have to maneuver his way down to losing 22 players by the time the Tide starts to play ball this Fall.

    Unbelievable. Saban will be chopping off heads of kids that believed in him and his message about making this a championship team.

    110 scholarship players? He always over signed here, as I think all coaches do. Through attrition, either by early departure, failure to get qualified, or academic issues, teams lose players. I'd be curious to know our numbers.

    All coaches oversign including Les. This just means that Nick is expecting a number of transfers, flunk-outs, dismissals, and other drop-outs. We'll have some, too. The last few players signed are often academic risks who'll never see the field. But you just never know.

    Isn't expecting 22 players to be dismissed, transfer, or not qualify.. a little steep? I can see over signing by 9-10.. but 22?

    If you are a member of a Rivals network you can look at all that stuff, on every site. It wasn't premium, was it? I have a Rivals account to every single site on the network so I cant tell. ;)

    I am using an anonymizer at work and I can't login to my rivals account, it thinks I am logged in on another computer even though I log out at home.

    So I couldn't see the article.

    I just assumed it was a premium article.
