EVERY QB that challenges flyyniebob was a system qb.

We spend too much time discussing Bama on this board.

I accept this as the "Will of the Group", and, I will not complain.

However, I would like to state that:

Alabama will win the SEC Championship in 2008.

Alabama will win the BCS National Championship in both 2009 and 2010.

I hope that LSU can win a bowl game or two during these seasons. If we can, I will be happy.

However, we LSU fans need to accept that Bama is back now, and that, we need to stay in our place; i.e. BAMA > LSU.

ALSO, Bama always cheers for LSU, PROVIDED THAT, Bama wins a SEC or National Championship while LSU plays in a lesser bowl game.

THEREFORE, LSU fans should stay in their place, accept the Superiority of Bama, cheer for Bama and Saban in the future BCS NC games; AND, Bama will reciprocate by cheering for LSU when we play in the Peach Bowl.

Now, THERE! I think that I've outlined a plan that we Bama and LSU fans can all be comfy with. If anyone disagrees with any of this, then, I will ask them to join me in urging everyone to STOP OBSESSING OVER BAMA on this board, because it's REALLY starting to look like SOME of us might have an inferiority complex.

Our threads about Saban don't come close to the mile long threads on Bama Boards regarding Coach Fran. We're just having a polite discussion here.

Besides, it's our way of doing a Roll Call of how many Bama fans are trolling our site. They always show up and post.

Maybe when we come to BR later this year, y'all could have the band serenade us with Willie Nelson's version of "You are always on my mind".

Seriously, neither Bama nor LSU is going anywhere. Starting in '09 Bama and LSU will be the two teams slugging it out for the west.

Personally, I think it's completely reasonable to assume that Bama could compete for the SEC title in 2008. They had some ups and downs last year, but they played us very close. I see no reason why they won't improve enough in the offseason to be able to compete.

What really amuses me, however, is the delusion that Miles is an "idiot". Ridiculous. USC boards make the same moronic comments.

It's too bad the other coaches don't feel the same way. Cause Miles would have them right where he wants them.

Bama will be better this year but have about the same record. Thats how the schedule goes. If the miles were added up on the distance of floated balls John Parker Wilson has thrown he could take the whole team to Fiji and back on frequent flier points.

If you listen to Coach Miles he sounds just like Bo. The players love him and he loves his players. He's actually a more rounded coach then Bo was which is what often happens when someone has a strong mentor relationship with a successful mentor like Bo. Coach Miles is well rounded and has a grasp on who he is and what he's doing. That is why he is such a good college football CEO Coach.

I seriously doubted the initial hire of CLM. He has proven me wrong on that front. I like his lack of political correctness. He says what runs through his mind, sometimes unfiltered. So what? He's not boring. Have a grrreat day!

I think 2009 is the year for Bama to shine, they must develop more depth to compete for the title in the modern SEC. They are looking at 8-4 or 7-5 this year likely but they will be dangerous in any given game. Nick signing 32 players is a signal that dead wood will get left behind. Young guys are going to be the depth for Bama this year, but in 2009, they will be veterans. Nick will be expected to post double-digit wins in 2009 and they can probably do it.

How about head to head record or over all offensive production
