You know the guy is arrogant and delusional albiet but it floors me that somebody with a keyboard and a computer can call a man that just WON a SEC championship AND a National Championship game an idiot???

Actually it doesn't floor me as much as it really starts to piss me off.

Poor Bama, I'm guessing when Coach Miles beats Bama again next year(he's never lost to Bama) and has LSU in another NC game in the next 2 years they just might figure out Saban coaching at LSU is a little different than Saban coaching at Bama.

That is a very logical, well thought, well written article for a gump. Wouldn't expect anything less.

Seems like a reach to be 9-3. I predicted on Tidefans that we'd be 8-4 at best. But I don't think it is "delusional" to think that in 2009 and on that Bama will be very capable of beating LSU, Auburn, Georgia etc. no matter where the game is played.

A lot of teams in the SEC are getting better. That's why the conference is so tough and is continuing to get tougher. SEC teams play most of their season being "banged up" which usually makes all SEC games pretty close. There aren't many "blow outs" in the SEC. Will Bama go 9-3 in 08? I seriously doubt it. But to think that Bama cannot or will not improve enough to EVER again beat LSU and/or Auburn is "delusional" in and of itself.

well, considering the guy originally wrote that bama is in the sec east and had to change it, that tells you how bright he is. :hihi:

It's coming from some of the the comments on the blog. No one is saying that Bama is gone forever. The delusional part comes from some thinking that this recruiting class makes Bama an instant contender. When you're coming off a loss to ULM and depending on high schoolers to make a difference in one year, there is definitely some unfounded high hopes going on there.
