Dang it, you just had open the door didn't you? Trees killed near Bammer football stadium; Nick Saban pursues killer and the reward Authorities suspect someone intentionally killed a row of live oak trees that stood between Bryant-Denny Stadium and a new luxury condominium development aimed at attracting University of Alabama fans as buyers. The trees stand between The Legends, a new condominium development with prices starting around $360,000, and the university’s football stadium. The condos’ balconies face the stadium. University alumnus Jon Drake, 58, said he would pay $5,000 for information that leads to someone spending at least three years in prison. Rumor is that Nick Saban is pursuing his own investigation hoping to win the award. The rest of the story is I think we now know who the tree killer is!!!!! Tuscaloosa PD: Saban and wife not injured in weekend car accident Posted by Associated Press December 23, 2007 11:22 AM TUSCALOOSA -- University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban's car struck a downed tree this weekend, but he and his wife were not injured in the one-vehicle wreck. Tuscaloosa police said Saban and his wife Terry were driving near the entrance of their neighborhood when their car hit the tree. Police spokesman Capt. Greg Kosloff said officers arrived on the scene Saturday night and a report was filled out. Kosloff called the incident a "minor accident" and had no other details. ------------------------------------- Yep, it looks like the coach is the real tree killer. What a clever ploy, pretend to search for the real killer just to cover his own tracks, who would have thought.........No telling how many saplings that will not have any future growth rings because of this man. I heard he even might waste paper in his office. Where is the Sierra Club when you need them.....
I expect a DAMN STRONG showing by the Bama faithful! It's important for ANY SEC team to beat Colorado in ANY bowl game. I expect every Bammer to be AT THE GAME. XXL Tide, TerryP and Red Elephants! Show yourselves. YOU WILL BE AT THE GAME! RIGHT?
I think that what he was trying to imply is that reallity is starting to set in for bama fans and that they are starting to see who Saban really is. But regardless they are still Bama. They are still exited about their team and getting to a bowl game is a big accomplishment. The chance for a winning season is within their grasp and the chance for many more winning seasons is also a very real possiblity if they can just turn that corner. Roll big tide, and remember you are in the SEC so try to represent it with class.
