I've read that Bama has not sold all of their allotted tickets for their Bowl game, 7,200 out of 12,000 as of December 17th. I remember reading they filled every seat in Bryant-Denny for their Spring Game which seats over 90,000. That's a pretty big swing. You would think there would be at least 12,000 out of that 90,000 that would want tickets to this years Bowl Game. Anyone from Bama want to comment on what this means? I wonder how many fans will show for next years Spring Game at Bama?
R U fishing for another Saban discussion?? I read that Shreveport Times reports they have sold their allotment of 12,000 tickets.
I heard that bama would not be going to the Independence Bowl, Saban said they couldn't get past Monroe. :milesmic:
True, on both accounts I'd imagine. I can understand why, but Colorado has sold less than 1000 of their alloted 12K...
Not really, just read the thread on the Bama board indicating Bama had not sold their allotment yet. http://tidefans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67228
Sold out Friday...not to mention it is quoting the Rocky Mountain News. Hardly a source for how many tickets were sold, I'd say. FWIW, it also says that Colorado had sold close to 2000 of its tickets (on the 17th). A spokesman for their Athletic Department said Friday they had sold around @1300. At the end of business Weds there were less than a 1000 Bama tickets left. With the Buffs returning a lot of tickets the Indy Bowl's office will get hit pretty hard this week, I suspect.
