I think LSU beats Mizzou. No doubt. Who knows on your next question. Sure, there's a chance it's a two loss season. There's also the chance the UF team that showed up that day would have been the same one that showed up against the Ragin' Cajuns.
I agree, bama more than likely beats Fla, but it's a lot tougher out than mizzo, we play mizzo, we're in the sugar bowl. bama dodges SC, Fla, and Ga. regular season, Ga dodges bama and LSU, look who plays in the SEC championship game.
my point is that bullshit rivalry. bama and tenn HAVE to play or the world ends. since way back in tthe 90's, Fla has been better than tenn 90+% of the time. so at least the last 20 years, LSU has a tougher road. the same LSU fans who beat their chests with the "I want to play Fla every year, I want to play the best" are the same ones who complain when that keeps us out of the SEC championship game, like it did in 2006. I want to play good teams too, but i want our chief rival to have to play scheudle equally as difficult, at least on average.
Dude, we struggled with an Auburn team that is WITHOUT a conference win. Bama ripped through them. Same with Arkansas. As much as I'd like to say otherwise, Bama has earned the right. They do, they play US. I feel you but it's hard to knock a team's "right to be there" ahead of us when we played them and they beat us.
You still are. We can take 75% of those records out of the equations simply due to travel. You were trying to make a point and pulled something that was weak. Bama has lost to Ole Miss seven times. LSU has lost 37 times. What does that say? Not a DAMN thing.
You Bama boys on here are something else, either you are just ignorant because you really don't know that the SEC does everything it can for Alabama and always has, and you just don't know any better, or you are in denial, or you are just a bunch of idiots.
Big JohnLSU was the first to convince me that with a slide rule and good color graphics, anything is possible.
I'd like to see an end of the "East-West" divisions, with a schedule that roates 9 SEC games every year. No permanent opponents, not even divisional ones. SEC Championship game is played by the two teams with the best conference records. I wish we played enough games in a year to round robin this muther, but nine rotating teams will do. Under the current alignment, we will not see South Carolina again for something ridiculous like six years. Under my proposed alignment, after playing a team for nine years, there is a four year hiatus, then it starts up again. But hey, that's just me.
You've been on the West Coast too much, apparently. I would like that. I'd much prefer a round-robin but that's out of the question. Even with your proposal there would still be a "luck of the draw" in any given season so there would still be bitchin.
Bitchin' is a tradition here at LSU. It's going NOwhere. I just think it would be a bit fairer, because it would by nature be random, since your teams change systematically every year, and you can never tell when a particular team will be up or down. Nothing can be rigged in any way. Every team plays every other team the exact same number of times over a 13 year cycle.
