Just curious, while our bama posters obviously don't think that bama gets favorable treatment from the refs, but can snyone deny that bama has had an easier path to the SEC champ game most years? and that getting kentuckty and tenn, two of the most pathetic teams in the east next year is even better for bama? http://www.secdigitalnetwork.com/NE...4/sec-football-scheduling-qa-mark-womack.aspx and that the guy working with scheduling is a bama grad. http://csvsummit.com/2010/2010/05/1...sociate-commissioner-southeastern-conference/
I just wish that "Bama grad guy" would get those bye weeks straightened out. Did you know LSU has two whole weeks to prepare for the Tide and we got stuck with undefeated Miss St? Dang, Bama son, do better.
So who is everyone on here pulling for in the BCS title game. If you are a SEC HOMER kind of guy do you pull for Alabama but being an LSU fan do you root for Notre Dame to knock off our rival?
We've played Mississippi 58 times. LSU has beaten Ole Miss 57 while losing 39 and tieing four. You're reaching here.
but don't answer, is bama's schedule easier? Screw that rivalry bullshit, Tenn has generally been an easier out than Fla since the 90's. Why should our main competition to the SEC champ game get an easier route every year?
lets see, bama got tenn and mizzo. does anyone think that if we would have played mizzo instead of fla, we'd be 11-1 instead of 10-2? If bama plays fla, is there a chance they're not 11-1?
Since the 2000's I'll agree. Who saw the downturn of UT back in '91? They were one of the "have's" when this was decided. UT won't be down much longer. They just need the right coach. EDIT: I missed the "don't answer part."
Let it go man. It's been discussed ad nauseum in at least 2 other threads. This year and next year there was favoritism in the scheduling. All other years are planned years in advance and there is very little way to know who is going to be good/bad.
