Prediction when the ranking are updated for the players that actually land on campus, LSU will be #1.

Moot point because I like our class way better.

Someone on another site crunched Bama's numbers on rivals and something doesn't add up. Bama was given more points than were due to them. I will see if I can get a copy. If this is true, I think it puts to rest any doubt that Rivals is indeed slanted in Bama's direction. I guess being a Bama grad and owning your own recruiting site has it's advantages.

Losing JJ costs us about 5 spots

    we won't be #1 now

Doesn't bother me, really. What does it matter whether Rivals ranks Alabama #1 every year. Will it change how good Trent Robertson, Rueben Randle, Jenzen Jackson or anyone else is? Their recruits are their recruits and our recruits are our recruits. The final ranking matters none. There's no real national championship for best recruiting class, only bragging rights. What matters is what they do on the field. Our class is pretty good and I think they'll provide us plenty of talent to work with, regardless of where Rivals or anyone else ranks them.

It matters from a marketing and PR perspective.

Maybe. If we're going to go marketing/PR... I'll take two :crystal: in 6 years as pretty good PR/Marketing ammo.

We only dropped on spot on Scout and stayed the same on Rivals and ESPN.
