    It would also put lsu tied with (or behind) auburn in recent NCs. That would kinda blow and also announce to everyone that the stakes are that high. It would be great for $cam U and the state of Alabama.

    True and I'd say tied is the accurate word.

    As habitual as it is for people to refer to the AP poll era, and in a few years it'll be the BCS era, during conversations about national titles it'll be LSU, Auburn and Florida referred to as winning two a piece.

    Are we implying Auburn won an AP only national title in recent times? I don't recall that.

    I guess you guys are referring to 2004.

    I had a nice day of fishing, instead of watching this game. Beautiful weather, ice chest of speckled trout, and a delicious fish fry that evening. I'd rather be fishing than watch gumps and burners.

    I was referring to TerryP's post of how Auburn fans are claiming two "recent" national titles. What are they claiming is the 2nd?
