"November 6th at LSU. The Tide don’t lose in Baton Rouge. The offense comes out firing. Big pass plays early in the second quarter completely takes the Tigers out of their game. Turnovers tell the tale. LSU has 5 Bama has none. This one is over early. The Les Miles era is shortened quite a bit, Alabama 41- 13." Scout.com: 5/31 Blog - Analyzing Alabama's Schedule who is wes moss? has lsu had even 4 turnovers in a game under clm?
Last year they had a better team than this year and LSU had a worse team. Two years ago it took an overtime to win it by one score, last year it took a bad call and a pick six to win . . . in their own stadium. Bama is going to have its hands full with LSU this year at home. Again.
good, people need to keep disrespecting this team, i hope it stings and every one of our players is aware of it.
I am kind of enjoying the fact every sports rag out there is saying LSU is "on the decline" will "Finish 4th in the west". "Les Miles days are numbered", most have us unranked. I hope every article is being posted on the lockeroom, and JJ has one taped in his locker..... Trust me this is the best thing for us. everyone predicting our doom and gloom.
and the year before, even tho in our house, took the gift of a pick 6 to win. the gump coach really should have sent our qb roses for that one. because we were even worse the year before, than last year.
I'm sorry, but LSU ain't gettin beat 41-13 by nobody. It took cheating referees for them to beat us last year....and they were a National Championship caliber team. LSU may have their issues, but I promise you nobody's gonna walk the dog on us by 28 points...ESPECIALLY not in our place. This guy is a dipshiit.
Bingo. As you point out, for all the problems we have had over the past 2 seasons, it took a bad call and an OT the previous season. As much as some people want to put Miles in the hot seat, and as much as some people want to place Saban on the top of the mountain, the outcome of those 2 games speaks a lot of each of them. That Miles isn't that much worse than Saban, and that Saban isn't that much greater than Miles. Take away our QB issues over the past 2 seasons and both of those games could have a different turnout. The games were exceptionally close and we were not anywhere near where we should be. There is no way that with the talent we have, the new coaching we have, and in our house that Bama is gonna take us to the woodshed.
The last time LSU got beat that bad in Tiger stadium against the elephants was in 2002. We lost 31 to zip. I seem to have forgotten who our coach was for that game. Anyone remember?
Good Question, i think that same coach lost games to UAB, and ULM for a different team he coached. I think his name rhymes with Dick but i can't be too certain.
