I watched Kentucky win at Auburn with backup QB Fidler. Not shocking considering Fidler had played in at least 1 series in Kentuckys 5 prior games. He had run more than 40 plays from scrimmage. Compared to Lee who I believe is 2 for 2 this year. All the more important he gets at least 2 series vs Auburn and again the following week vs Tulane. I don't want to see him forced into significant playing time vs Bama without some more playing time. That Bama game could decide who wins the west and Tuscaloosa is not a favorable place to stick Lee in if JJ were to get rocked.
On second thought are you talking about sacks we've allowed or times we've sacked the opposing QB? We've sacked the opposing QB 5 times and allowed 18 sacks.
I was referring to where we rank in sacking the QB vs. Bama (#11) in sacking the QB. I thought we sacked the QB fewer than 5 times. I thought it was more like 2, but I'm glad to see the extra 3. lol
Except for offensive line and quarterback, they have been. Perhaps that will change this week. Still, if Lee has been practicing with the #1's last week, we would probably have heard something. But so far zip.
We had a thread on it yesterday I think. Our 5 sacks were in the first two games. Don't know that we've touched an opposing QB since.
We may not touch them, but we scare the hell out of them. After 10 secs all alone way back there in the pocket they start to get paranoid.
