Wow, Baltimore playing with lots of heart tonight. Mason playing with a hurt shoulder but just caught a crucial TD to put Baltimore up 16-7 late in the 3rd. Dallas has 0 points on offense, except for a 4 yard drive due to a Ravens turnover. Dallas looks to be phoning it in, which is surprising.
Former "U" player Willis McGahee with a 77-yard run, the most yards on a single play against the Cows this season.
Both announcers were stunned: "incredible...incredible" Dallas fans filling Texas Stadium with loud boos directed toward the sucky Cowgirls. Even as I type this, the Cowboy fans are still booing after their offense just got a delay-of-game penalty P.S. McClain is a Bama boy: Le'Ron McClain
Any takers on whether or not TO will cry about not getting the ball as much this week (i.e., more drama)? I love to see the Cowgirls lose. I really thought Romo was pretty good, but I'm starting to think he really is overrated. How can this vaunted 'Girls D give up two 75+ yard run back to back? Ed Reed for DPOY? I love it. :thumb:
Cowboy lose -- second loss in their last three games, sixth loss of the season. The 'Girls now have a 60.0% win pct for the season. Romo threw two interceptions -- both to Reed. Witten got 87 yards while TO only got 63 (TO is not happy). Two Baltimore RBs rushed for 100+, McClain with 139 and 1 TD (6.3 YPC) and McGahee with 108 and 1 TD (a whooping 13.5 YPC). Rookie Flacco had a whooping 68% completion % against the Cows, 1 TD, 0 INTS.
Romo wasn't even drafted. He is a scout team player that played well enough to start. And in that regard, he over-performed big-time--he reminds me of Pierre Thomas of the Saints, but with a much better supporting cast of all-stars.
I'm listening to the game on the radio and the announcers just signed off with: "Not the ideal performance for the Texas Stadium finale--the Ravens throwing a spoiler performance for the Cowboys and their fans" Then it went to an anchorman who started off with: "Not looking good for the Cowboys..." and then went on to explain why.
Incredibly Romo just can't get it done in December. Hopefully John can display the stats on this. I think his QB rating Sept-Nov is around 98-100, and his QB rating in December is 65-70. Dallas is going to break the record for most consecutive losing Decembers (or non-winning Decembers, cant' remember which one), breaking the Saints record of 11 straight seasons.
