I watched it. Hank Aaron will always be seen as the Home run King.
    Sorry just will be.

But I watched it, and for the rest of my life I will know where i was (A hotel in K.C) when it happened. So whatever the issue it was still a historic moment.

Some reporter had the balls to bring up Greg Anderson in the post game press conference. Here is the exact transcript of that part of the interview:

Reporter: "Barry, there are a lot of people here tonight who helped you get here, but one person who was not able to be here was Greg Anderson. If he happens to be watching TV right now, is there a message you would like to send out to him?"

Bonds: "Why are we in that conversation? Just another negative question. I am not gonna get into that."

You do realize that's only 25 per season, right? You do realize that had he stayed at that pace, he'd still be 200 shy of the record, right?

In 12+ seasons from 1986-1998 Barry hit 411 HR. Very nice.

In 9 non-full seasons from 1999-now, starting at the age of 34, he hit 345 and counting. This includes 73 in 2001, a 49 percent(!) increase over his previous best single-season HR total. Yikes.

Barry Bonds took steriods (or something along those lines). There is absolutely no disputing it. 39-year-olds do not SLG .811 on this planet. The only remaining question is: Do you think it's a big deal that he - and TONS of other players - took steroids? I don't really care that much.

I'll wait till the record is legitimately broken by a-rod in a couple of years. I would rather the all-time home run king be a sissy, pretty-boy, Yankee than a cheater.

    1986-1998 411 HR in 6600 at bats
    1999-present 345 HR in 3150 at bats

sick numbers no matter what B*rry was injecting in his azz.

As a Braves fan I really hate that Hank Aaron's record was broken like this.

Most baseball fans know what Aaron went though while chasing the Babe and and to have B*rry steal the record like he has just rubs me the wrong way. IMO B*rry will never be a better HR hitter than Hammering Hank he just has better drugs.

Just think, if Derek Jeter said something like this, the media would be nominating him for a Nobel prize.
