Looks like Channel 11 is sticking us with the Ags :po::

    Dear Charles:
This is time when there are a lot of difficult decisions to make, but
in this instance there is no choice. Texas A&M plays BYU in the
Thursday morning session, and as such we will be carrying that game.
While I agree there are a lot of LSU fans living in the Houston area,
the Aggies are considered a "local" market.
Thank you for your interest in Channel 11

Frustrating. Here's hoping LSU makes it far enough to catch the games on tv rather than internet.

thats what sports bars are for. when i was on the west coast it was great actually, id wake up, hit the sports bar by 930 for a bloody mary, brunch and basketball.

1130 central may be early enough for that.

Nothing like a cold beer for tipoff. Was in St. Pete a couple of years ago. Pints were a quarter at 8 am and went up 4 bits ever hour until they hit around $2.50 at some point - the exact price and time, as well as the afternoon events, remain a little fuzzy. Reminds me of some fishing trips down Plaquemine way that started way too early!!! :D

Really though, the online streaming has worked great the last few years, and they are even upping the stream quality to near HD (anybody who watched one of the cbs games online this year will vouch that it looked good).

The streaming is free, so it's really not a big deal.

you should get a gangload of LSU fans together and go tailgate out in front of the local cbs affiliate.

You aren't alone Houstonians. Here in CO the A&M - BYU game is also being featured. Looks like I'll also be watching on the computer at work.
