    UGA crushes Georgia Tech
    Vandy Paddled Wake Forest
    South Carolina spanked Clemson

And these games weren't even close.

ACC lost any chance for Virginia Tech to leap frog Alabama.

So Alabama gets to sit back and wait for an opponent in the BCS championship and we have to earn our way into the game. All we did was beat them at home in a revenge game. But according to ESPN who basically decides who plays in the championship game have already stated that the best team in the country is Bama. So why even bother playing the game against them if they are undefeated at the time of the game next year we should just forfeit because the regular season doesn't matter. They have a heisman candidate and the greatest coach ever so why bother with letting the final score of the game determine who wins. It is all about hype and perception.

    Awesome

I demand the name of the thread be changed to "normal day for the ACC"!

And what up with the sexual innuendo? Crushes, and paddlings, and spankings, OH MY!

Just so you know, even if we had a playoff system, we'd most likely be facing Bama again for the NC. They ARE the second best team in the country.

They just happen to also be the 2nd best team in the SEC west which means they don't get a shot at being the SEC Champions. Which means when we beat them again they'll have 0 trophies or rings to hand out this year.

If it were a playoff fine...I get it but at least they would have to play a tough game before we had to play them again not just get a cake walk to championship. The main argument the BCS espouses is that "every game counts". So if every game counts shouldn't the loss at home mean something. If it was a playoff I have no problem, but in a beauty contest shouldn't our road victory mean something. I know it may not have been the prettiest victory but at the end of the game the scoreboard stated LSU 9 Bama 6. The BCS said every game is a playoff so we already won our playoff game with them.
