Come on Red...don't be that way. You're welcome here. Just make sure you visit us the day after so we can rub your loss in a little.
Maybe the tide players won't pay attention to the details and will keep making the same mistake all night. :thumb:
I have waited until our time to play. Haven't been here gloating about Bama's success this year nor have I been here to flame on you guys during your rebuilding period.
This thread title made me laugh since bama has been 'back' for short periods of the last 10 seasons. Maybe your subconcious coming out RE?
C'mon guys. I know some of you think he sucks but if he wants to come to Tiger Stadium he shouldn't have to sneak in through the back door. I will be there offer aid should he need it. As the Flintstone theme song says "Let's have a gay ole time".
Although I am somewhat surprised with the results this year, what was a great schedule has turned out to be a letdown. Sure, Clemson is down but the buildup for that game paired with the whole nation not giving Alabama a chance really set the tone for the season and gave the players loads of confidence. Everyone seems to be down this year and we're taking advantage of it. Also, it's not like we are doing it with upperclassmen at only 11 seniors and playing 10 true freshmen. I'm not expecting to with the MNC, but I'm rooting for it. We obviously have to beat you guys next week to wrap up the west. Barring a total collapse like last year (and I think the teams attitude is much different), we will be headed to a good bowl game. Alabama are not world beaters, but they are playing well and winning games ahead of schedule, which can only mean promise for the future. Bama wasn't "back" in '05 and they are not "back" this year, but they are better and some of the bad apples (i.e. DJ Hall, Keith Brown, Simeon Castille, etc) have been weeded out. They have stayed healthy this year which is a difference also with our best player (Prothro) going down in '05. There is reason for excitement in Tuscaloosa.
all true RE. But Saban is winning with a lot of Shula's players. Sounds stupid, doesn't it? Try hearing it 3 years after he's gone, and you'll see how silly it really is. :thumb:
