away game student ticket prices--don't get the UW prices

But I wonder if that's a case of LSU simply overselling the student section more than in previous years. Granted, I haven't seen the actual attendance vs. tickets sold stats for students and non-students. If the AD sells 30,000 student tickets instead of 25,000, and the actual attendance is steady at around 20,000 (just making up numbers here), the 10,000 no-shows look a lot worse. I also wonder how many people were turned off after UGA and Bama, though I'm not excusing it. Back to that "social event" thing rather than rabid fan turnout. Now if things don't improve this year and Alleva threatens to seriously shrink the student section, then he'd have a real fight on his hands.

But I still say we need to schedule some quality home-and-aways (which is happening) rather than worry about penciling in Tulane, ULL and Tech every year.
