Ticket prices for away games for students are as follows:

    UW $70 ?????
    State $50
    UGA $50
    Bama $55
    Ole Miss $55

So tickets for our biggest conference rivalries (and most in-demand tickets) cost $15 less than an OOC game that few students will make the trip for? Seems like UW prices should be lower to encourage higher attendance. What are the prices that yall are being quoted for regular UW tickets?

That is a regular UW ticket price for the LSU game. Student or not. UW sets the price. I guess they figure people will show up to see LSU.

Does anyone know when they will announce season ticket holder away game allotments?

well, after we beat them, make sure everyone there chants "SEC Football!" like the way they taunted florida in softball.

That's what Tulane did to us in baseball this year. Tickets for that game were something like $20 more than tickets for the SUPER regional. :dis:.

And that's exactly why we shouldn't schedule Tulane ever again.

We also found out this afternoon that the AD is lowering the boom on student attendance. Starting this year, if you buy student tickets and don't make at least 3 home games you're bumped to the back of the line behind incoming students for the following season. I kind of see the reasoning for this, since last year I saw a lot more frat/sorority types filling the student section and treating the game as a social event, rather than fans supporting the team and leaving early. On the other hand, I tend to think a lot of these attendance issues would go away if we stopped scheduling Southeastern West Louisiana Trade and Beauty School for our OOC stretch.

Not necessarily. I remember seeing the stats on a few games, and there were a lot of no-shows for the big games. A lot being much much more than I would have ever though.
