So, it wasn't that he wanted so leave for his hometown school? Joe sabotaged us with his idiotic antics?

From what I've read, LSU offered him a pay increase and he chose to leave. Blame it on Joe.

FSU admin complained following Jimbo’s departure that he wanted them to spend too much. Idiots.

It wasn't about the money but the way it has been handled for over a year now. Austin is not motivated by money but there comes a point where you just feel the value you bring is being under appreciated. Then start to wonder why all the antics and promises when completely unnecessary drama you never wanted to be apart of. Austin was a bargain and knew it and still wanted to be here. I can't blame him for moving on.

I have heard that Oeaux placed a great value on Thomas's player evaluations. {according to Mike Detillier) I guess Alleva didn't see the value in that.

Wow. Just wow. So Alleva didn’t handle this like it should have been handled and lost a valuable part of the football team structure. How long do we have to endure this ass of an AD? If you don’t know how to treat people, you have no business being in a leadership role like this. To me, it’s one of the differences I see consistently in people from LA vs more northern regions, personal interactions/communication ability. LA people are personable and sincerely care about how to show appreciation to others. That’s a generalization, but I notice it a lot. I know Skip wasn’t from LA, but these traits were there and allowed him to be a successful leader here.
