Had a DVR when I was in Mandeville and loved it. Out here in the country, I rarely watch tv and don't have one. I found that with the DVR, I watched a lot more tv than I do now. It sucks you in.
You don't need a DVR to watch live football but you need a TV. I understand that you can go somewhere and watch the game. I watched Saturday's LSU-Auburn game at Buffalo Wild Wings. Went there to be around other LSU fans for the game but I don't want to have to do that to watch all the games I want to watch. I watched Ole Miss beat Alabama from home. If I didn't have a TV I would have missed it because I'm not going out somewhere every time I want to watch football. I was able to watch NFL football off and on all day yesterday. From home. Because I have a TV.
Holy shit dude. Let me explain it for you. I have 3 TVs. I don't have a DVR. Really, I have TV. I DO NOT HAVE A DVR! I promise!
Include the previous sentence and the one after it. "Had a DVR when I was in Mandeville and loved it. Out here in the country, I rarely watch tv and don't have one. I found that with the DVR, I watched a lot more tv than I do now. It sucks you in." It's all about context dude. I had a DVR. Now i rarely watch TV, but do watch it. When I had a DVR, I watched a lot more tv than I do now (meaning I still watch tv. Hard to do without a tv)
Gotcha. There are some people who don't own TV's. A guy I know in his mid 50's told me a couple of weeks ago that he has never had a TV. But he is not a sports fan.
