what is with the Auburn love fest on this board lately? bmy is impressed with AU beating up on a schedule that was ranked like 80-ish in SOS (pre this past weekend, haven't seen the updated #s yet) people starting threads begging for them to be ranked and get respect they beat a team whose coach is so bad we have a multitude of threads bashing them, and everybody is going ga ga over the win. someone else has them finishing above us in the West some people are calling them fun to watch what the hell is going on here? PHUCK Auburn!

:lol: Im inclined to agree but you have to give credit where its due and Cheezedick has done a good job "so far" at Aub. More specifically, he did a good job hiring that OC because the guy is good. I watched the AUB/TENN game today and the Aub offense is fun to watch. They ran some modified fumble rooskie type play where a WR hide behind the guard that was hilarious. Completely stunned Tenn. Very imaginative stuff and that noodle arm QB they had last year looks all SEC now. They have a good o-line too. Very good o-line IMHO. But I stand by my statements in the other topic, Aub has defensive problems. Tenn put a lot of yards on them. Their pass defense is poor and Arky will give them all they can handle.
I don't think so, Scooter .... ($1 to Ron White) while you're correct that Auburn does have some defensive depth problems, WADR, Arky's offense is going to spend the majority of the game watching from the sideline as Auburn's rushing game grinds their defense into a mudhole. Assuming McFadden is healthy, Auburn's secondary is more than capable of containing the Hogs and their one-dimensional show. I'd love to see three 6-and-oh teams in the SEC West ...... edit 10/11/09 : boy was i wrong on arky's defensive front. Our boyus came out flat and layed an egg on rushing the ball. Oh well, .... we're still ahead of schedule, just gotta keep rebuilding.
Told ya Caddy. Your defense is pretty bad and I dont think its all because of depth. The starters are not playing well and I told Deceks in a PM that I thought Roof was a terrible D-Coordinator. Chizik needs to get more involved to save that defense because the scheme is causing a lot of big plays. Your number 17 CAN NOT cover a pass route from his LB position. I've seen him get burned by the pass every time I have watched Auburn. This is one of the worst Aub defenses in recent memory.
