If this isn't an NCAA violation it's surely questionable under the circumstances isn't it? >SPORTSbyBROOKS » It’s Now Just $750 To ‘Party’ With Auburn ‘Players’<
Yeh I think this is a reach. there is nothing wrong with this actually.... I see no issue with it. I just think its kind of sad grown men and women pay that much money to hang out with kids. Maybe I am in the minority and I love LSU football but I find it weird sometimes when a 40 year old man chases down a 19 year old for an autograph. Sure I had Brady James sign my Sugar Bowl ticket once when he came into my office. But he was already playing for the Cowboys. So maybe I shouldnt cast stones. But that is another discussion.
are the players attending this event for free since they are "a part" of it? and will have the chance to party with the 2 live crew guy? or do the players have to pay to get in? seems that if a typical student has to pay, and the players get in to party for free, that would be an extra benefit, although technically they are "part of" the event, not "attending". will the kids sign autographs for free? eta: re-reading, i guess this is an event to honor the players so it's free for them, hence, no "extra benefit".
