Auburn @ LSU official game thread

It's not really as bad as it appears. Most of the runs are just Johnson making plays. It looks to me like the line is actually not doing bad for having to go up against all those seniors, Devin White helps. LSU just has to make the tackle when they hit him the first time. It's all 2nd and 3rd effort for Johnson. And Aranda can't be so damn aggressive. You don't blitz in man on 3rd and 13.

Now the pass defense needs to step up, and we just have to tackle.

 

Can anyone explain to me what happened on that near-interception by Etling that almost ended our last scoring drive? Was Et just pressured and threw a bad pass?

Oh, OK. That makes sense. Our radio guys didn't really break that play down. I was curious.

I just saw a tweet from one of the beat writers (Cody Worsham from Tiger Rag) that said an Auburn defender pushed Dillon into Gage on that play. I suppose PI could have been called, but it was missed. We did dodge a bullet there.

Seeing the fight in this team last week and now the 1st half of this game. I support Coach O!!! Seeing the fight in this team is what I like to see. Seeing how empty the stadium is is pathetic... We might have the shittiest fan base in college football.

 

Les and the 2007 team got a damn strong reception. That was good to see.
