No kidding.. SEC officiating at its worst. I counted at least 3 blatant holding penalties right in front of ole 'bug eyes', most notably on back to back plays of AUs final drive, and he didn't call a single one.

Felt going in that the SEC schedule would favor LSU this season. Mainly because of our trip to BR. Now, not so much. Had no idea that the East side of town would ball up their fist and come out swinging like this. South Carolina is the real deal with Conner Shaw completing 20 straight passes against Mizzou. Lattimore looks to be getting his swag back as the season progresses. Georgia has made almost a complete transformation back to big boy football. Florida no longer looks confused with their offensive identity and is playing solid in all areas of the game. These three teams look like Alabama and LSU in philosophy and intent. Man, the SEC is rocking.

This is going to make for some great upcoming games played in the SEC folks. The carnage will be immense. With SC and Georgia yet to play, it's given both a chance to make a big national splash in their grudge match. Even Tenn. and the Bulldogs will get some love this week.

Regarding Shepard, I didn't see him at all on the field in the 1st half even though I tend to usually notice him. In the 2nd half, he seemed to be everywhere (including plays when he was simply on the field but not thrown to). Just out of curiosity, can anyone confirm if he played in the 1st half?

I would like to see Ford with more touches one way or another.

I didn't see him in the first half either 99. But Shepard has turned into one of those players that just gives it his all. I was very critical of 10 throughout his career but I'm glad he is a Tiger. He may not play on Sunday, but dammit he has proved himself an LSU Tiger with the effort he gives every week.

I was at the game and was amazed the field goal team did not take a delay of game at the end rather than rush the attempt. Five yards would not have made a lot of difference, probably would have made it forcing Auburn to score a TD vs FG to win. I will take a win at Auburn any day of the week.

Said this before but one of my employees played opposite of Jalen Mills at the other corner at Desoto High in D/FW, and he told Jalen "my supervisor said you got your ass chewed out.." Jalen said "dude...this ain't Desoto High, I'm not used to having to play against people that are just as fast as I am."

    Lol

That's greatness. I feel better now about what I perceived as "attitude" from him as his ass was chewed. Welcome to the SEC, Jalen. I think you'll be a great one.

I would like to add that we gained more on AU this year and gave less to them from a yardage standpoint than we did last year.
