Just had a 10 minute conversation with an Auburn fan. They're worried.... nervous. We've beaten them 3 years in a row. Nobody plays defense like us. They know they haven't seen a DLine like ours or team speed like we have, etc. #5 vs #6 and we have that "Les Miles luck" going for us.... This should be a great game. GEAUX TIGERS!!! :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
I would like nothing more than to shut the talking heads up. We did so with a preemptive strike against UF, because you know how ESPN would have ate up a story about a QB with broken ribs beating us. Now we have to end all of the Cam Newton talk.
Everyone on the rest of our schedule should be very worried about the defense LSU brings to the field, but unfortunately it takes more than defense to be successful... hopefully the offense has figured out it's bulimic tendencies and get it under wraps. A stout LSU offense will do wonders for confidence.
I could live with a 3-0 win every game the rest of the season, wouldn't bother me at all... all i'd like to see is this offense eat up more TOP and move the ball without 150yrds in penalties.
Their play by play guy, Rob Bramlett sure is confident. I live in Birmingham and just heard him on local radio. Said LSU's defense hasn't seen anything like Auburn's offense and after being concerned about what Arkansas' offense may do to Auburn's defense, and how will they did (43 points ?) there's not nearly the concern like last week. After listening to this guy, you'd think Auburn was playing Rice or Tulane tomorrow.
He's a homer, that's what they do. I heard StevieP on 1420 this morning say LSU would win 27-24. Of course I think he's one of the better sports talk show guys out there. Not nearly as homer as most of them. Auburn fans are still high off of scoring 65 points last week. In their mind they're unstoppable. The first INT / fumble will quiet them down tomorrow.
Come on now. Maybe not you, but a good bit of Auburn fans have got to be chugging the kool-aid after hangin' 65 on a quality SEC opponent. Be honest.
Yes, but in fairness, they have Auburn refs. I don't care if Jesus Christ is our coach, Auburn refs scare me.
