Plagiarism - Plagiarism is defined in dictionaries as "the wrongful appropriation, close imitation, or purloining and publication, of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions, and the representation of them as one's own original work Plagiarism is not a crime but is disapproved more on the grounds of moral offense. That was copied (plagiarized) from a Big 12 blog by an Auburn fan who then substituted LSU for either Nebraska or Iowa State. Auburn (and Alabama fans too it seems) apparently don't know what plagiarism is and that it will actually get you kicked out of some schools (probably not Auburn) and that it doesn't make a lot of sense to equate Louisiana with corn dogs. :rolleye33: I mean, really? Not really a big deal. It just shows their stupidity. Btw, I copied the plagiarism definition from Wikipedia.
Speaking of corn dogs, man I'm hungry. I can't stand corn dogs though. It's that weenie I guess. Yech! Maybe one of you innovative chef types could come up with a real Louisiana Corn Dog. Maybe andouille sausage wrapped in unsweetened begniet dough or even biscuit dough infused with shrimp or crawfish. Sell it to Auburn and Alabama fans for $25 each. They'd eat it up. I'll have to leave it up to you chef types though. Only time I go in the kitchen is to pat my Wife or housekeeper on the butt. Good luck.
I know, right? Wouldn't a better dig be 'Crawfish' or 'Boudin'? As for the plagiarism, you reference Wiki, so I think you're safe.
I've always heard that if you copy from one source, it's plagiarism. If you copy from many sources, it's "research". :geaux:
