The Tigers overcame a five-point deficit and bumped off the Lady Vols 78-58 to reach the finals of the SEC Tournament here in North Little Rock. Auburn will play the winner of tonight's LSU-Vanderbilt game for the tournament championship on Sunday. Tennessee led 31-26 at the half, but Auburn came out and smothered the Lady Vols' offense. DeWanna Bonner (who else?) led Auburn with 26 points. Auburn improved to 29-2. Tennessee fell to 22-10. We'll be back with plenty of facts and quotes.
Thanks for the good wishes, but that didn't quite work out as hoped. I really didn't think Vanderbilt could take Auburn, but they're just a better team than I thought. Here's to an all SEC final in the dance!
