I saw but did not read a headline from an AU D lineman saying he was held "a lot" during the game. I'm pretty sure the only penalty for holding by an OL was called against LSU.
Menh...Cry me a river. Gumps and Barners letter in arm bar. Wonder if it was the same bagodicks that has gone low on 3 sep SEC QBs. Forget which, wasnt DBrown who gave JB props after taking the hit. Once, accident Twice, coincidence Thrice, GTFOHWTS
They got killed on the stat sheet. They are lucky that didn’t translate to the scoreboard. LSU probably left 21 pernts on the field, so the shit should have been a whole lot worse for them.
Missed the first half, wife was yelling about Aubie's dirty play when I walked in the door. Hitting JB low after the throw, holding, late hits out of bounds. That PI call was BS. Was has happened to officiating?
Officiating is atrocious. I have the Oregon - Wash St game on now. Defender charges into the Oregon OL before the ball was snapped. It was so ouvert and obvious of an encroachment call and the dumbass zebras called illegal procedure. No one on the offEnsuive side moved. Between college officiating and the Saints/NFL, I can barely stand it.
None of that matters because of the fake injury thing. I laughed the rest of the way after that. I told you guys, Malzahn can't win without trickery and obviously that isn't working for him anymore. Can't stand him as a coach and can't stand Auburn. We got the W, let's move on to who's next...
I saw some LSU OL holding. However, they let both sides play so it's fair. There will always be some misses though, but that also goes both ways, depending on perspective.
It is amazing how Auburn maintains a tradition of coaches who only try to win with tricks and bending the rules. I guess I should feel glad that they have Gus as their coach. It makes them easier to beat despite some obviously good athletes. But the coordinated fake injuries hit a new low point in the sewage system that is Auburn football. Thankfully, it is clearly on film to nullify any excuses they may offer.
How the hell does this work? It would save me a heck of a lot of time ... Saw, didn't read, but it said?
