agree. one of the better teams against us in the conference this year. improved a lot during the season. they played their asses off against us.
Whats even better is last night was the night Saban accepted the trophy(?) for their Iron Bowl win and Auburn pissed all over that parade. :lol:
Bama made up for the AU loss by beating Univ of Tennessee with a clutch long 3-pointer at the buzzer. Wow great shot by the Alabama player who drove in to the game straight from his grandma's funeral. Watch the shot on the highlight reel tonight. (Didn't want to start a new thread)
Nope, why should I? I haven't really kept up with college basketball this year for various reasons outside of LSU. One win over Alabama or LSU doesn't mean Auburn is on the map yet anyway as far as I'm concerned!
for one thing, it was (imo) a cheap shot at a rival poster who has been nothing but a good guest and was not talking smack, but simply proud of his team. and two, that team just kicked our ass. :rolleye33:
For one thing it was not a cheap shot if you would go back and see that I included a laughing face as the symbol on the end of the sentence. I wasn't talking smack and it was not a cheap shot at Deceks7. I consider him a friend and have talked with him before. If you would have read my response to him when I talked about a new stadium or arena to hopefully turn things around was directed at their program. My response to you wasn't as pleasant because I considered that a cheap shot at me because well you used a symbol at the end of your sentence and I didn't care for your point. You see how that works? You have to remember this is a message board and we don't always understand where the other poster is coming from with or without symbols. I also don't take myself too seriously around here, you gotta lighten up and have some fun in life! So what? One or two wins over good or decent teams don't make a season. This is basketball and you generally have to win a few more games to make noise. With basketball any team can beat another in any given night. I'm not that sure this LSU basketball team is as good as people think right now btw. The SEC is down this year but we will see just how good this LSU basketball team is during the tournament. Call me skeptical and yes now I took a shot at the LSU men's basketball team!:rolleye33:
For the Record... I would root for Auburn before I would root for any other SEC team besides LSU. My cousins daughter just graduated from there. We have Bama fans in our family too and thats too bad!:lol: If I want to take a cheap shot at anybody it would be Bama with Saban there or Florida. For the most part I wouldn't take a cheap shot at a school unless I have good reason such as Nick Saban. That is the only case of anybody I would kick when they are down otherwise I see no point in cheap shots when a program is down.
