I would disagree, LSU was in the final four a few years back, mens and womens!:)

There is nothing like a new home to hopefully get things on the right foot although I sure miss some of the old homes especially when it comes to Mlb.
I must admit I haven't had time to keep up with college basketball this year except for LSU, barely had time for that!

I know. That's how coaches get fired. Steep decline.

Fwiw I think it is quite sad how most sports shows will talk about f'ing Gtown every night and their (no) chance to make the tournament, yet Auburn gets no pub. Lebo has done a good job this year and I am glad he will be able to hang around to see the new arena.

Especially because Lebo is paying for this piss fight (page n longer available):

One of the tastiest subplots centers around NCAA director of enforcement Dave Didion -- the former compliance director at Auburn. Apparently during his time at Auburn, Didion clashed with men's basketball coach Cliff Ellis, causing Auburn to question Didion's role in the current investigation, the NCAA's third look at Ellis' program in nine years.
The NCAA, saying Didion wasn't part of the investigative team, dismissed the notion outright. Didion did, however, stay at that Phoenix hotel late last week. Maybe he thought spring training was a week early this year.
Did we mention that, when Ellis and Didion clashed at Auburn, what we meant to say was that Ellis had requested in 1999 that Didion be fired?
