    Could have been me; if you're talking about the Mark Howie that played baseball for LSU in the 80's, I went to Boys State with him. But I doubt he would remember me, and I never met his wife.

    Criticizing the Bama and Florida losses is more than fair, but its not just giving Canada a chance. CEO took over a team with a Stone Age offense installed, and no shot at getting difference-making play out of the QB position. Harris' head was gone, and Etling is adequate, but not a game changer. Neither has gotten a lick of QB coaching at LSU. And there's only so much you can do with the offense when you hand the reins over to a less-than-enthusiastic interim OC 4 games into the season, and say "take over." Despite that, the offense averaged 43 points a game in 5 regular season wins down the stretch. You make the call; did Les/Cam hold the offense back, or did Oeaux/Ensminger just get what they were capable of?
