"Spurrier lost a total of three games at the Swamp, period, from 1990-2001."

    Good grief.

The great thing is LSU can resort to the "gimmicky" type of offense as well as smash-mouth football.

    You can't ask for better.

I'd say the SEC is far stronger this decade.

Still, I couldn't see Spurrier's teams dropping a home game to a team like Ole Miss.

If that hadn't happened, we might have two games between Top-5 teams on the same Saturday. Incredible.

Thanks for the link. That's one of the best articles I've read in a long, long time.

    Now THAT IS FOOTBALL!

I was reading SI in the "library" this morning and wondering what the old-school Texas and Oklahoma coaches would think about their teams now being successful more with the passing game than with the good old power running game.

Well UF sure has had a whole lot of bulletin board material and this is one more. LSU better bring their A game on defense.

I can find you ten + articles for both teams about every big game like this one...this is not bulletin board material...especially since it was written by the Orlando Sentinel.

Promise there are ten of them like this written about LSU as well...Ive read em.
