OU under Stoops is one of those great powerhouses in history, and they started out #4 in both polls to start the season, and only lost to K State and Notre Dame....and now they get absolutely destroyed by a team that Florida, LSU, and Bama all went toe to toe with in big SEC battles (with LSU and Florida winning, both @ATM)

For LSU, it really doesn't mean anything. We won a game at their place. For SEC dominance, well if you look at this years bowl crop the SEC isn't all that "dominant". Granted some of those games were places the SEC team probably didn't want to be and you can never judge a lot from that. In the end, the SEC will continue to garner the nations best while the rest of them try to play catch up.

Well, I'd read the word of Big 12 fans who felt that the Aggies sub-par season in the Big 12 combined with a strong showing in the SEC indicated massive Big 12 superiority. Apparently the Heisman trophy winning freshman was negligible, or something. An Oklahoma victory would have resulted in the transitive property of football being thrown around at will to "prove" Big 12 dominance over the SEC. For LSU? I don't know that it says anything specifically. It tells me that I want to go watch the LSU-Aggie game to remind myself how we held Manziel to 27 yards on the ground, if that counts.

Oklahoma has been in a big game stupor since the USC beat down.

Well, you know how a lot of minds work, just remembering the last game and viewing everything through that....and being this is the last big game before Bama v ND, if Bama blows out ND as well, i think a lot of people will go into the off season thinking "holy mother of god does the SEC dominate"

As for LSU, it means a lot, at least vis a vis Oklahoma. both LSU and OU started off this season preseason Top 4 (along with Bama and USC), both faced aTm, with LSU winning @aTm and OU getting blow out by aTm like a high school team in JerryWorld...both LSU and OU faced a top-in-the-nation offense led by an All American QB in their bowl game (Clemson, A&M), with LSU barely losing on the last drive and OU getting blown out, again, like a high school team

Being that OU rivals LSU as one of the greatest programs of our era, big boost for LSU with aTm's 41-13 win over OU today

Recruiting Texas just got a little more difficult for Miles and co.

The state of Tx has over 400 high school players sign every year, I think LSU can still do well with the other 375 kids.

Guess it got difficult real quick, as to we don't have any verbals from Tx this year.;)

At some point during the game they mentioned that the aggies were losing a couple OLs to the draft. I can just see Kevin Sumlin going into a recruit's living room, "Hey, you want to come block for Johnny Heisman?"

Half of the SEC has 10 wins or better. 5 of them have 11+. What exactly does that say about the SEC?

    2 teams with 12 wins:
    Alabama (About to be 13)
    Georgia

    3 teams with 11 wins
    Florida
    South Carolina
    aTm

    1 team with 10 wins
    US (No I'm not dsylexic)
