There was never any doubt even as I hoped they’d walk as they did everything by the book. Their lives are over. Plus they’ll be murdered before they even get in their cell block. They shouldn't be charged. They were doing what they were trained to do. If a perp resist arrest and then takes a cops weapons the cop must protect himself and the civilians and can use lethal force. This is a freaking travesty and will weaken this country and put more innocent citizens in danger. Start stockpiling guns an ammo.

Read somewhere that just a month ago, an Atlanta cop was charged with "use of deadly force" for tasering someone. So if a cop uses a taser, its "deadly force," but if a perp steals a cop's taser and turns it on him, the cop is not supposed to defend himself?
