Re: Georgia Dome I've got some, too, it's spelled "advice". To advise is to give advice. Spell it wrong once, maybe a finger error, or too many beers, spell it twice, and it was meant that way. Having said that, enjoy your time in Atlanta.
Re: Georgia Dome Thanks for the lesson. Now for yours. There should be no comma between some and too.
Re: Georgia Dome Cheap hotels can be had at the airport, I went that route twice. Once we were obviously at the end of a runway, the whole building shook every 4-5 minutes (isn't it the busiest airport in the US?) Thank goodness we stayed drunk the whole time or we would have never gotten any sleep. For the last SECCG game I got a really nice room via Priceline after arriving in town. The wife will be with me for this trip so I suppose I'll have to spring for something decent.
Re: Georgia Dome If you are looking for a cheap place to stay the Clermont Motor Hotel on Ponce De Leon is as nasty as they come. There is a strip club in the basement. I a, told the hourly rates are reasonable.
Re: Georgia Dome This would have been useful info a few years ago, back when I was a much less reputable person.

Lookin for a reasonably priced convenient room near the Gawga Dome. I know absolutely nothing about Atlanta. I'll hang up and listen. p.s. North Cackalacky finna kiss da baby.
That is a tough one, they know everyone is coming in from out of town. The good location are the Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and the Omni Center. I have not stay in any of the hotels. One option is to stay outside of downtown for less, but less convenient than walking and less game atmosphere. Any hotel near Marta can get you to the game for about $2 per person, one way. Plenty of parking around the dome and after the game, leaving is still a mess, but hardly like Tiger Stadium, but it makes staying outside downtown possible. I believe another poster on the topic recently suggested the Georgian Terrace for value. I'll look up the thread and PM you.
