USC at number 2, that's laughable. As long as Lane Kiffin is their head coach, they may look and smell like number 2 but they aren't in any rankings.
You know all you will hear from the talking head idiots from espn is USC USC USC. They will over inflate these pretenders. They play in a conference of defensive midgets. If they played in the sec they wouldn't win nine games. Let's hope the ducks can find a defense and beat USC so we don't have to hear about them. They always over rank pus 12 teams. All flash and gimmick and absolutely no substance. They only look good in the pus12 because they play each other. Lsu had it's third string playing in the fourth qtr. They don't impress me at all. None, nada, zip.
I would love nothing more than to put a serious SEC a$$ whoopin on them socal boys. Please let it stay this way.
I haven't seen that. Take this year for example (Preseason rank vs. now) Oregon @ #3 and now @ #6 Stanford @ #7 and now @ #4 USC @25...now at #5
We have a score to settle with Bama...phuck USC. Easy sparky. I'm not trying to show anyone up. Matter of fact, PAC 10 fans always bag on us, saying SEC teams are overrated. In looking at pre-season to where they are currently, both conferences' teams were actually ranked fairly accurate with each having a major travesty. When a poll has a team unranked or one ranked lower than Top 20 and they end up in the Top 10, that's a pretty bad miss. We had R-Kansas and the Pac had USC. (Preseason rank vs. now) Oregon @ #3 and now @ #6 Stanford @ #7 and now @ #4 USC @25...now at #5 (Preseason vs. now) Arkansas unranked vs. now @ #7 LSU #4 vs. now @ #1 South Carolina #12 vs. now @ #10 Georgia @ #19 vs. now @ #18 Alabama #2 vs. now @ #2 Miss St. @ #20 no longer ranked Florida @ #22 no longer ranked Auburn @ #23 no longer ranked Bottom line, I doubt there's any conscious effort(s) to do so but each conference's perception always tickles me.
