    wrong

do you believe in the religion i just made up and you have never heard of? no. you know nothing about it and dont believe it. unawareness and lack of belief, same thing. i have no knowledge of god, everything i have heard about him is made up. so i lack belief. just like you and my religion.

you believe or you dont. if you are unaware, you dont believe.

i was making a point. i was saying i made up a religion 10 seconds ago. a religion you know nothing about, a religion that you have no reason to have faith in, because i just made it up. you, knowing nothing about my religion, do not believe in it. you are atheist with respect to my made-up religion. this is the way you should feel about every religion.

the literal answer to your question is that i dont have a religion.

I don't think that is right. Choosing not to accept an article of faith is not being atheist in respect to it.

well, we are stretching the definition of the word "choose", because i could preach to you about my new rerligion forever and you couldnt make yourself believe it, because it is stupid.

but if i dont accept the article of faith, then i am without that article of faith, that theism, so again i am literally without theism. a - theism.

Theism is not belief in just anything it is belief in something specific to the individual. It is not an exact opposite of atheism, and that is where your argument falls down.
