Yeah, bringing in another very highly-ranked recruiting class and top-notch OC really has me concerned about the direction of our program. Being an NFL-factory is also keeping me up at night. Not sure how we'll ever pull ourselves out of this rut. Right. There have been droves of fools predicting Miles' downfall for oh about 8 years now. Still waiting on that prophecy to fulfill itself. For the first 13 games of the 2011, Miles put one of the best CFB teams ever (in terms of performance) on the field with two of the biggest headcases you could imagine taking snaps. I don't care where you coach or recruit; that accomplishment speaks for itself. But let's not let silly little facts shield us from our ignorance.
Keep making excuses for Patt. In 2008, LSU had to use 3 QB's and still won 8 games. After the loss of the starting QB before the 2011 season, what was the record that year? It doesn't matter CUSA, MWC, etc. you recruit. Get the best players, its your job. The great runs by Patt, were done with teams most schools call Homecoming teams/Rent-a-Wins. Like I said, 400 kids in Tx every year and TCU can't get any?
And exactly what imagined trend is that? BTW, I have no problem with criticisim, but the fact is that Miles is the winningest coach in LSU history, it's not a fluke. I'm not making excuses for the 2012 NC game, but as a total body of work, he's more successfull than anyone else has been here. You can claim that patterson is better, but that's an opinion, and they're like assholes. People like you who refuse to recognize anything but negatives about a coach that's won 1 NC, 2 SECC's and is 84-20 are haters, IMO. BTW, how come when I asked you if losing 3 Ol's, your starting RB, and a LB, to injuries is a common thing, as you infered, you didn't have anything to say? He still won 10 games with all that, but you focus on the NC game over 2 years ago. This is why I say your a negatiger.
There is a lot of hair-splitting going on around here. I see four facts . . . 1. Les is the most successful coach in LSU history. This is indisputable.2. Les is not perfect and can be subject to criticism. This also should be clear.3. #1 and #2 are not mutually exclusive. Les can be The Man and still fuck up from time to time. Who doesn't?4. Criticizing Les' poor clock management or the disastrous benching of Lee does not constitute "hating" Les.You all know that I'm not a negatiger, but we all bitch and moan about what we like and don't like here. So what? It provides more reasons to discuss LSU football.
Uhhhh i started this post and had a computer malfunction and come back to see a Gary Patterson Vs Les Miles pissing contest. WTF how did this happen ? We will know all we need after the first game of the year.
the TCU fan had a meltdown SEC coaches all scared of gary patterson. He didn't even have a winning big 12 record. maybe it was all the drug arrests had last year? fulmer cup before qb Casey Patchall's drug use & dwi.
