Watched that game, Calhoun looked good in the few carries he got. Came close to breaking it a few times but Marist plays disciplined football so they were taking good angles. He still had a few nice 10 yard runs.

LB Kevin Minter is playing in tonight's 5A championship, so hopefully LSU commits can make it 2-for-2 in GA.

How did Calhoun look on D? And how did he look over all in comparison to the other players on the field?

Didn't really notice him out there on D. Not sure how much he played but Marist never throws the ball so there wasn't much for him to do.

Looked good returning the ball though.

As for how he looked compared to everyone else, Tucker is loaded with speed and I was also impressed with RB #1 (Davis) but you could tell he was one of the elite athletes on the field.

Marist isn't known for their team speed though so it wasn't the best game to judge.

I saw a quote from his coach that said he was faster than 4.3. I think BHelm posted that back in the summer.

(4.31) Laser timed. That puts him at mid 4.2 hand timed..

Ran a 4.25, 4.27, 4.31 40 at his high school back in late July.

I'm really worried about that slow 4.31 speed.

And I was considered 'fast' on my baseball team with a 4.67 :hihi: (For comparison.. Fluker runs a 4.9, lmao)

He can flat out fly. How is his shuttle time?

That's absurd. I think people don't appreciate how fast 4.2 speed is. Fabian Washington, one of the fastest players in the NFL ran a 4.28 at the combine a couple years ago, and this kid was recorded below that in High School. We're starting to get speed that competes with Florida. Speed Kills.
