At this point would anything other than Atlanta and NOLA for NCG be a disappointment?

Hell, be honest. If we lose a game most every one of us will have to fight back tears. We spend hours of our time reading and talking lsu football all year long. I'm not saying everyone will be screaming bloody murder. I'm just saying that we will all be pretty sad.

There isn't anyone on this board that wouldn't walk on hot coals if it meant lsu winning out. We are all die hard fans. If you were not you wouldn't be here on this board. That being said, no normal fan could be as happy or as sad as all of us who live lsu football. I will still love the team and lsu football if we lose. I will be very sad. If we win the bcsnc we all will be floating on a cloud for a year.

 

I want Miles to be LSU's Bear Bryant. Nick Saban can be Alabama's Cholly Mac. In 50 years I want folks to say, that Nick Saban was a good coach... he just never could beat Les Miles.

 

Disappointment - No, this team is far too great to be refered to as a disappointment.

Sad that we would have almost had it, yes.

Agreed Okie. AtlantaBengal and Tiger in TX also said it well. Look at what this team has done with all the crap it had to over come and I feel nothing but pride. Bama in Bama will be tough and coming out on the short end would be sad. But I would still face the Aggies, Horns, Sooners, and lesser fans decked out in my Tiger gear with a smile on my face.

Oh yea, and next year will be great also.
