At least we were not like #6 Iowa or #7 Oregon... how do you lose to NW or Stanford?

That is like losing to Vanderbilt or Tulane.

    If a "W" is a "W" then an "L" is an "L".

I dont think LSU would just roll over Stanford or NW, I think LSU could win these 2 games but they are better than Vandy and tulane .... just sayin

Iowa's offense has been suspect all year. They score because their defense makes the other team punt and because they had a pretty good QB. Iowa had the lead in the 2nd quarter when they lost their QB and the redshirt freshman backup couldn't get it done. That injury decided the game. Oregon was too busy celebrating their blowout of (still) overranked USC and was not prepared.

Well, let's see, maybe because Stanford is 6-3 and ranked now....Or that Northwestern runs a very good version of the spread offense and went to a bowl game last year.

Vanderbilt would get killed by Stanford. Tulane would get beat soundly by Northwestern.
